react Tuesday, April 18 in the morning entered a new case of murder at the Rughenda district in Bulengera, Butembo in the North Kivu province.
The local civil society has determined that the victim, named Sivasimire Anuarite, 37 years old, was fatally stabbed close to the market place at approximately 3 am.
Said attackers were also presumably armed with firearms, and immediately fled the scene following the incident.
The civil society of Bulengera is horrified with the result, and decries a second homcidal murder registered in the space of ten days in this same neighborhood.
John Kameta, the organization’s president, is calling for investigations in order to expose the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
